System Verification Engineer
Specification, design, and implementation of FPGA-based system emulation platforms for
mixed-signal architectures
• Management of FPGA emulation system throughout product development lifecycle. Custom
PCB design and development to support FPGA based HW emulation.
• Prototyping and debug of mixed-signal designs on FPGAs
• Development of verification IP for use in the emulation of mixed-signal architectures.
Verification scope will encompass analog, digital and firmware functions as well as
evaluation and benchmarking of full system performance.
• Development of lab automation, including the control of instruments to ensure repeatability
of bench-level regression test results, with automated data collection and test-case scoring.
• Work closely with analog designers, digital designers, systems architecture, firmware,
applications and test engineering to specify, design, develop and manage a verification
system for complex FPGA emulation platforms.
• Perform bench characterization on VRTT system to verify system performance.
• Verification of FPGA and silicon digital protocol interfaces for spec compliance (SVID, VR1x,
SMBus).
• Work closely with test and application engineering teams to develop evaluation PCB’s and
hardware required for validation and testing of silicon.
• Track and report progress of the projects against key milestones

Ideal Experience:
• 10+ years’ relevant engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience with a design team
• Expertise of User Experience, Product Design and Product Management
• Experience of full-product verification flows, including HW, SW, FW etc.
• Experience and knowledge of power conversion.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experience of IC verification and methodologies for automotive markets
• Knowledge of ISO26262.
• Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• The ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• The ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
